Echo UI is made by Nawwara Studio LLC, a company registered in Wyoming, USA. This page says what Echo's site, its command-line tool and its hosted MCP server collect, which is very little, and why. Questions go to support@echo-ui.com.
The site
- No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no cookies.
- Your browser keeps three things on your own device: the colours you chose for the site, whether you turned its sound on, and, until you close the tab, where the docs sidebar was scrolled. None of them leaves your device. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.
- The site's fonts, scripts and images are served from echo-ui.com itself. It loads nothing from anyone else.
The hosted MCP server
This is the server ChatGPT, Claude and other AI tools connect to when you use Echo there, through Echo's plugin or as a connector, at mcp.echo-ui.com.
- It receives what a tool is called with: a search, a component's name, a style's settings, or code to check. It uses that to answer, and keeps none of it. Code sent to the check is checked and forgotten.
- It needs no account, and knows nothing about who you are.
- What you say in ChatGPT or Claude stays with them, under their own privacy policies. The server only sees the tool calls.
Hosting, and request logs
Cloudflare hosts the site and the server. Like any web host, it handles each request, and it can keep a record of it for up to 7 days: what was asked for, when, the response, and the address the request came from. Echo uses those records only to keep the site and the server running and to stop abuse. The server also counts the requests from each address over ten seconds, so a runaway script is refused for a few seconds.
The CLI, echo-ui-cli
It reads Echo's registry from echo-ui.com and installs packages from npm, under npm's own privacy policy. It sends nothing about you or your project to Echo, and has no telemetry. Its page tests run in your own browser, on your own machine.
Your styles
Styles you make with Echo's Design Eye stay where you keep them: on your computer, or in your chat. They aren't stored on Echo's servers.
Tips
When you send a tip, you pay on the payment provider's own page, under its privacy policy. Echo receives what the provider passes on to a seller, which can include your name, your email address and the amount, and never your card details. We keep these as business records for as long as tax law requires.
If you send your name for the supporters' wall on the support page, it's shown as you sent it, with the colour you chose. Ask, and it comes down.
When you write to us
We keep your message and your address to answer you, and delete them when you ask, unless the law requires us to keep them.
Your choices
Write to support@echo-ui.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. If you live in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Echo doesn't sell personal information, share it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
Children
Echo is a tool for building software and isn't meant for children under 13.
